Dr. Gavaletz has been working in the animal field for 22 years. He worked as an emergency veterinary technician before and during veterinary school. He has been working at Branford Veterinary Hospital since 2008. Dr. Gavaletz holds a B.S. degree with departmental honors in Zoology from Southern Connecticut State University, and a D.V.M from the University of Florida (2002). His special interest is in exotic animal and wildlife medicine. In his free time Dr. Gavaletz enjoys golf, cooking, and is an avid Florida sports fan. He lives in Woodbridge with his family, their cats, Merle, Yoshi Ticklepaws, their dog, Bentley, and their bearded dragon Pancakes.
