Scott Gavaletz, D.V.M.


Dr. Gavaletz has been working in the animal field for 19 years. He worked as an emergency veterinary technician before and during veterinary school. He has been working at Branford Veterinary Hospital since 2008. Dr. Gavaletz holds a B.S. degree with departmental honors in Zoology from Southern Connecticut State University, and a D.V.M from the University of Florida (2002). His research work involved mycoplasma infection in alligators. In his free time Dr. Gavaletz enjoys golf, cooking, and is an avid Florida sports fan. He lives in New Haven with his family and 2 cats (Heddy, Yoshi Ticklepaws)
